Bhagavad Gita Song of Self-Mastery with Anne Taylor
Sunday, February 19 @ 1-3pm
The climatic battle scene at the end of the great Indian epic, The Mahabharata, is a stand-alone Upanishad known as The Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita translates to “Song of the Lord” and is the moving and enlightening conversation between Prince Arjuna and his charioteer, Sri Krishna (Bhagavan or Lord in disguise) before Arjuna enters into battle against his own family.
The Bhagavad Gita is not only Prince Arjuna’s battle; it is the mêlée of contemporary Westerners as well. The real battle is the psycho-spiritual struggle within, encountered by all true seekers within “the field of the human body.” To win this battle is to win Self-Mastery over our egoic tendencies.
In this workshop, we will join Arjuna as he stands in deep conflict before the great battle. Together we will read key passages from The Bhagavad Gita and discuss our responses as a group. Concepts such as Purusha/Prakriti, the tattvas, the three gunas, and“the field” of the body will be incorporated.
Several six-minute group meditations targeted at these key themes will bring embodied knowledge to each participant. One example is  “Tattva Balance Beyond Stress & Duality” meditation.

Kundalini Yoga for Prosperity with Ai Endo
Sunday, February 19 @ 3:30-5:30pm

When we hear the word ‘prosperity,’ many of us immediately think of money. We also think that we have to hustle to become prosperous. However, the yogic idea of wealth is much more than having money, a job, a spouse and house. It is also not about going ‘out there’ and chasing down what you need, but instead being in tune to your Self and the Universe so much that what you need is provided. Very different paradigm, isn’t it? If you are ready for a shift into true abundance, then join us for this workshop. Experience inspiration and illumination on lasting Prosperity through Kundalini yoga.  We will move, chant, and meditate into our radiance, to the point where wealth is simply a matter of course!
